These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SurfaceWorks Prowash website and your engagement of SurfaceWorks ProWash Limited ("SurfaceWorks Prowash," "we," "us," or "our") for exterior cleaning and surface restoration services. By requesting an estimate, scheduling service, or otherwise using our website, you agree to these Terms.
Description of Services
SurfaceWorks Prowash provides residential and commercial exterior cleaning and surface restoration services in Northeast Ohio, including services such as roof and siding soft washing, concrete and driveway cleaning, patio and entryway cleaning, and related commercial exterior maintenance. Specific services offered may change over time and are described on our website.
Estimates and Quotes
Estimates and quotes provided through our website, by phone, by email, or in person are based on the information and photos available to us at the time and are not binding until we have inspected the property (in person or through photos you provide) and both parties have accepted the final scope of work and price. Actual conditions discovered on site — including access difficulty, surface condition, staining severity, or property size — may result in a revised quote, which we will communicate to you before any work begins. No work will be performed, and no charge will apply, without your acceptance of a final price.
Scheduling and Cancellation
Service appointments are scheduled by mutual agreement and may be affected by weather, equipment availability, or other circumstances outside our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you promptly of any need to reschedule. You may request to reschedule or cancel an appointment by contacting us; please provide as much notice as possible.
Payment Terms
Payment is due according to the terms confirmed with you at the time you accept a quote, which will typically be upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing (for example, for larger commercial projects). Invoices for completed work are issued through our accounting software, Zoho. Late or unpaid invoices may be subject to standard collection practices permitted under Ohio law. We do not store full payment card numbers on our website.
Property Access and Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property and surfaces to be cleaned, for disclosing known hazards or fragile conditions (such as damaged roofing, unstable surfaces, or sensitive landscaping), and for securing or removing personal property, vehicles, pets, and outdoor items from the work area before our arrival, unless otherwise arranged with us in advance.
Limitation of Liability
We take reasonable care to perform services using methods and equipment appropriate to the surface being cleaned. Exterior cleaning and surface restoration can reveal or interact with pre-existing conditions — including aged paint, worn caulking, damaged siding or roofing, deteriorated mortar or concrete, and similar wear — that are not caused by our work but may become more visible after cleaning. To the fullest extent permitted by Ohio law, SurfaceWorks Prowash is not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or conditions that existed before service was performed. Our liability for any claim arising from services performed is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Photos and Testimonials
We may take before, during, and after photos of a property in connection with an estimate or completed project for our internal records and quality documentation. With your consent, we may also use project photos, reviews, and testimonials in our marketing, including our website, Google Business Profile, and Facebook page. We will not publish a customer's name, exact address, or other identifying details alongside project photos without consent, and you may ask us not to use photos of your property in marketing at any time.
Website Use
Our website and its content, including text, images, and logos, are the property of SurfaceWorks Prowash or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission. Information on our website, including pricing, is provided for general reference and is subject to confirmation as described above.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.
